The New Year comes with many surprises and a lot of excitement. Now is a good time to cast a retrospective view on your previous year and to speculate about the goodies coming along in the year ahead. But when you think about the New Year, you think about New Year resolutions. As soon as you’ve wished your friend a Happy New Year, you go right on to ask, “So, what’s your new year looking like?” And people go on sharing different resolutions ranging from low hanging fruits to Herculean labours. Of course for some lazy bums, it would be to complete their last years’ resolutions or even those from previous decades. Hah!

I understand, resolutions are as delicate as bubbles. And you say that everyone breaks their resolutions, so what’s the big deal about that?!  Well, it’s a counterproductive term because it already comes with a mindset that says it’s alright to fail.  “There’s always next year.” But your dreams, visions and success can’t wait until next year!  You need to change the conversation, and your mindset, to assure that you achieve everything (and more) you set out to do. What you need to do is stop setting OUT to do things, and instead start setting RESULTS!

Here are a few ways you can change the conversation this year and tread on a newer resolution likely to be accomplished:

Your Actions – If you have read my bestselling book “The Millionaire Maker,” you will understand how taking actions as if your result is already achieved can enable that result.  Go to the bank in person and meet the President.  Surround yourself with successful, positive, people. Every action you take leads you closer and closer to the results you desire.

Self-Talk – Sometimes you can be your own worst enemy. Your pessimism can keep you from achieving success. It’s true! It’s important to be optimistic. Positive self-talk will build you up from the inside out and give you a life-affirming way to make your results a reality.  Try starting out every morning by turning on your favorite music. Tell yourself how energized you feel (VERY) and set actions for the day. Then head out there and make the magic you know you are capable of creating! Working on those tiny bits of a resolution everyday will fill you with zeal for its accomplishment.

The Way You Speak to Others – It’s all about taking every single step with head held high. The Yes! Energy equation begins with changing the conversation. This means you need to project yourself as successful to be successful. It’s in the way you take care of yourself. It’s in your elevator pitch and the way you tell people what you do. It’s in how you network. It’s time to step out with confidence when engaging others!

Langemeier’s Alumni are Successful Entrepreneurs

Loral Langemeier’s 14^th Annual Alumni Event in San Diego

Last year (2011) Loral Langemeier, CEO, Live Out Loud, Inc. hosted her 14^th Annual Event in San Diego. Loral is one of today’s leading money experts and she carried out the event exclusively for the members of the Live Out Loud Community. The event took place at Paradise Point Resort and Spa. Since the event was for the alumni of Langemeier Coaching Programs, they got a chance to interact with each other and continue the conversation about making money.
